The company was founded by Mr. Umadat Jaggernauth who is the owner of Universal Machining Company. Universal Machining Company is the leading machining and fabricating company in Guyana, they supply all types of industrial and mining parts.

Jags Aviation was established on the 31st October 2006 as a domestic charter company with the aim to provide air transport and support to the mining sector of Guyana.

We acquired our Air Operator Certificate on the 9th March 2007 from the Guyana Civil Aviation Authority and began commercial operation on the on the 11th March 2007.

We own and operate a Britten-Norman Islander Aircraft that is capable of transporting upto 9 passengers at a time.

We offer charter flights to various locations in Guyana, whether you are in mining or just sight seeing we can take you there.
